Ocean Beach street parking is free and entirely a matter of patience. The blocks immediately around Newport Ave are full from 6pm onward, especially in summer. The reliable move is to park east up the hill near Sunset Cliffs Blvd or on the residential streets north of Voltaire and walk 5–10 minutes. Beach lots fill by afternoon in summer and are ticketed after posted hours.

MTS Route 35 and 923 serve Ocean Beach from downtown and Old Town, but service thins out late, which is a real problem for a venue whose headliner starts at 10pm. Rideshare in and out of OB is straightforward and generally cheap — the practical answer for a night at Winstons.
