Use the Blue Line trolley south and the Green Line east, the Coronado ferry across the bay, and the COASTER train north to Solana Beach, Encinitas, Carlsbad, and Oceanside. Save rideshare for La Jolla and Balboa Park, and rent a car for just one day if you want North County.
