Masa is a small Mission Hills room that does a clean shoyu broth better than it does tonkotsu. It is the bowl to order when you don't want to feel wrecked afterward, and the izakaya menu around it is genuinely good.
Local tip: Sit at the bar and order the karaage alongside — the kitchen's fried work is underrated.
