Heading to a show, stadium event, convention or festival? Your hotel should fit the venue and your trip home afterward. Compare the best areas to search before committing to a room.
For Petco Park, look at Gaslamp Quarter or East Village. For Snapdragon Stadium, prioritize access to the trolley in Mission Valley. For the Convention Center, compare walking distance with transit connections. For Del Mar, look at North County options. Always confirm your event's exact address and schedule.

If the concert is your main reason for visiting, choose a hotel near the venue or a convenient transit route. Downtown can work for multiple downtown activities but may be less practical for North County events.
Check the actual service schedule for your event date and estimated finishing time. Do not assume the last train or bus will run after the encore.
Check availability as soon as your event plans are firm, especially for major conventions and stadium weekends. Compare cancellation rules if your plans are still uncertain.
