Polite Provisions is not a true rooftop in the downtown sense, but its open-air mezzanine and patio give it a rooftop-like feel above the North Park street. The cocktails are excellent, with a program that rivals the best in the city. The crowd is local and knowledgeable, and the atmosphere is lively without being overwhelming. The food is limited, but the drinks are good enough that you will not mind. It is the best option in North Park for a well-made drink in an elevated outdoor space.
