The Mercato stretches several blocks with 200-plus vendors, real growers, flowers, and a strong prepared-food section. Go early for produce and late morning for the food stalls. Crowds are heavy after 10am.
Local tip: Park in a Little Italy garage rather than circling — street parking is hopeless by 9am.
