Where to sit
Glass seats
The most fun for kids and first-timers — bodies hit the boards a foot away. You also lose sightlines through the glass and the netting.
Upper bowl
Pechanga is old and small, which works in your favor: even the top rows are closer to the action than upper decks in modern arenas. This is the cheap ticket to buy.
Local tip: The upper bowl is also where you'll see plays develop, which matters more in hockey than most sports.
Behind the attacking net
The Gulls shoot twice toward the same end. Sit there and you get two periods of offense in your lap.

Built in 1966 and showing it — narrow concourses, dated concessions, but a genuinely good hockey building. Redevelopment of the site has been under discussion for years.
Local tip: Concourse lines are worst during the first intermission. Go during play or in the second intermission.
Getting there
MTS bus routes serve Sports Arena Boulevard; the Trolley does not reach the arena directly. Most people drive — the surface lots are the arena's biggest advantage over downtown venues.
Theme nights
The Gulls lean hard into promotional nights — jersey giveaways, Star Wars night, teddy bear toss around the holidays. The teddy bear toss game is the loudest and most fun of the season.

The immediate area is strip-mall dining. Fine, not memorable.
