The University of San Diego Toreros play in Linda Vista: football and soccer at Torero Stadium, basketball and volleyball at the Jenny Craig Pavilion. Football competes in the non-scholarship Pioneer Football League in the fall, basketball in the West Coast Conference (the same league as Gonzaga and Saint Mary's) from November through March. Tickets are the cheapest live sport in the county — often single digits to low teens for football, more for a marquee WCC basketball weekend — and campus parking is straightforward outside of a Gonzaga visit. Take Linda Vista Road rather than the I-8 exits on a busy night, and arrive 30 minutes early for basketball because the Pavilion holds only about 5,100.

USD campus, Linda Vista · ~6,000 capacity · football & soccer
A compact bowl set into the hillside with a view out over Mission Valley. Every seat is close, the sun sits on the west side for afternoon kickoffs, and you can walk the concourse end to end in a few minutes. It has also hosted pro soccer and rugby over the years.
Local tip: Sit on the east side for shade after about 2pm in September.
USD campus, Linda Vista · ~5,100 capacity · basketball & volleyball
Small enough that a mid-tier seat feels courtside. When Gonzaga or Saint Mary's visits it sells out and gets genuinely loud; a Tuesday non-conference game is close to an empty gym you can walk into 10 minutes before tip.
Local tip: Gonzaga's visit is the one date to buy early — everything else you can get the week of.
USD campus, Linda Vista · Baseball · spring
A tidy on-campus ballpark with grass berms and afternoon sun. Spring weekday games are one of the best free-feeling afternoons in San Diego sport.
USD sells or opens event parking on campus for most games. The West Parking Structure is the largest and drains fastest afterward. Follow signage from Linda Vista Road rather than trying to shortcut through the Marian Way entrance.
Coming from the beaches or downtown at 5–6pm, the Morena/Linda Vista approach usually beats the freeway. Napa Street and Linda Vista Road get you up the hill without the Fashion Valley bottleneck.
MTS bus routes serve Linda Vista Road at the base of campus, but it is an uphill walk to both venues. Unlike Snapdragon Stadium, USD is not a Trolley-served venue.
The stretch below campus is one of the county's best Vietnamese and Filipino corridors — pho, lumpia and bakery stops within five minutes of the gate. Far better value than campus concessions.
Breweries and taprooms a short drive downhill, useful for a post-game pint without heading downtown.
Chain-heavy but reliable for a family group, and it puts you next to the Trolley if part of your party is coming from elsewhere.
