Point Loma
The classic. Park along Ladera Street and walk south for the less-photographed ledges. Stay behind fencing — the bluff edges genuinely crumble.

Manicured lawn above the Cove with palms, the seawall and sea lions barking below. Easy for grandparents to attend if you want an audience afterward.
Torrey Pines
The Guy Fleming trail loops to two overlooks in about 20 flat minutes. Reserve gates close at sunset, so aim for late afternoon rather than dusk.
La Jolla
A small stone-ringed lawn on the point, so photogenic that it hosts weddings most weekends. Check for a booked ceremony before you commit to a time.
