Children's Pool (Casa Beach)
850 Coast Blvd · Free · harbor seals · viewing rail always open
A curved seawall built in 1931 as a protected swimming cove that harbor seals took over decades ago. Dozens of seals lie on the small beach most mornings. You watch from the paved walkway and seawall directly above — no ticket, no gate, and the view is genuinely close.
Local tip: Low tide gives the seals more sand and gives you more animals to look at. Check a tide chart the night before.
