Communal Coffee is the most pleasant room of the three and the best place to bring someone. James Coffee is the one to pick when you want to work: industrial space, plenty of outlets, and espresso that holds up over three hours. Lofty is the choice if you also want breakfast that isn't a pastry.
Saturday mornings, the Mercato takes over Date Street and every cafe within a block runs a line. Come before 8am or push the coffee stop to after 2pm when the market clears.
